Have you ever heard about that? No? Well,it’s conference, but not a normal one, in fact it is very diferent. It’s basic idea is, that  every atendee can be also a lecturer.

And I was lucky enough, that some folks organize that event where I live (Ljubljana, Slovenia), so I went there to what it’s all about. I was prety impresed about organization (event was totaly free) and when I came (I was late for about half an hour) almost every slot for lectures was full. After few minutes all the slots were full, so I decided to applay for so called “Lightning talks”, which means, that I had only 5 minits to present my subject. Since there were mostly open-source-and-linux-folks, I thought I could show Windows7 in action. And it was preety well excepted!

Anyway, I’m starting to be regular guest on that kind of events. Oh, and here’s the link for local event and official site for all the events of that type.

Widows 7 beta download!

As you probably know, Microsoft has released public beta version of Windows7, which can be downloaded by first 2,5milion people. That’s pretty impressive number, but hey, go there and download it before someone else takes your place :)

Anyway, why is that so important? Well, like the birds are singnig, vista isn’t catching like Microsft wanted to. But Windows7 is pretty much different story, this beta release is pretty good excepted in genereal public, so as far as I think, Vista story is going to be something like Windows Millenium … or at least I hope so.

OK, my download is now almost complete, so I will give you link, where you can find information about this new OS, and more importantly – here you can download it! Since you are on .NET blog, i asume that even you are developer, so downlod link is from MSDN.

That’s it, now I’m going to install it any give it a try :)
