I used the following setter in the LVI style:

        <Setter Property="FocusVisualStyle">

            <Setter.Value>

                <Style />

            </Setter.Value>

        </Setter>

This completely removes the dotted line.

Your example is great, but ListView.LayoutUpdated event fires very often. I have reach to ScrollBar in ListView and used IsVisibleChanged event and I think this is better solution. What do you think?
