Use Windows Live Writer to Post to Your WindowsClient.Net Blog
Did you know you can use Windows Live Writer to post to your WindowsClient.Net Blog?
You can!
Step 1. Download and install Windows Live Writer and follow these steps.
Step 2. Select Add A Weblog Account... from the Weblog menu in Windows Live Writer. (If this is your first time using Windows Live Writer, the application will auto-prompt you to add a new weblog).
Step 3. Choose Another weblog service and click Next >.
Step 4. Complete the Weblog Homepage and Login screen by typing http://blogs.windowsclient.net/[yourblog] into the Weblog Homepage URL field and entering your username and password in their respective fields. Click Next >.

Step 5. Windows Live Writer will not auto-detect the WindowsClient.net blog provider, but the next screen will give you the option to configure it manually.

Step 6. Select Community Server from the drop-down menu and enter this URL into the Remote Posting URL field: http://blogs.windowsclient.net/blogs/metablog.ashx
Click Next >.
Step 7. You can edit your Weblog Name and edit your settings on this screen, but that's optional. Click Finish.
Step 8. That's it! You're ready to edit your WindowsClient.net blog using Windows Live Writer.
