A little about me

Hi,  I'm Mike Warriner, CTO of Intelligent Environments plc.  I work for a UK based software company that specializes in web based banking software, particularly for Internet Credit cards, Loans and Savings products.  Our customers are generally well established banks (we have 4 of the top 5 UK banks as customers) with existing mainframe based processing systems and they look to us to build a web based user experience that will set them apart from their competition; we use Microsoft .NET technologies throughout and make extensive use of .NET 3.5 features such as ASP.NET, WCF, WF and more recently WPF and Silverlight.

I'm hoping to share some of our experiences with WPF/Silverlight technologies here, particularly around how to make it work in the secure mission critical environment that the banks insist upon.  I'd also be particularly interested in getting in touch with anyone else who is working with these technologies in a banking domain to share ideas and experiences - please get in touch though the contact form on this blog.

My "business" blog is http://www.mikewarriner.com - if you are interested, please visit there to find out more about our company,

Mike
