Josh Smith/Grant Hinkson: The power of a developer, a designer, and WPF

WPF Dev posted pictures of Josh/Grant's work on Podder and Podder v2.  Josh (the dev) put together v1, and constructed it so that a designer could evolve the UI.

Sacha Barber calls it "A Really Really Nice WPF App".

Rudi Grobler describes:

The coolest feature is the dynamic changing of the background color based on the average color of the current selected podcast's image!!! Very cool stuff...

Although I've been reading his blog and emailing with him for a year or two, I met Josh for the first time about 2 months ago in Redmond.  I had been reading Grant's WPF work via his blog for a long time too...I was happy to meet him for the first time at Mix08.

Great stuff!

Hey Rob,

Thanks for the nice post about Podder.  I'm very happy with how it turned out.  I'm toying with the idea of hosting a "Podder Skin" competition.  Might be a fun and interesting way to see what kinds of creative forces are out there in the WPF world...

Thanks,

Josh
